Dr. Genuario, a native of Colorado, began his love of sports medicine while participating in athletics at the great University of Notre Dame. There he earned a BS in biology and a minor in Anthropology, but most importantly met the love of his life, Kristy. Together, they journeyed to Chicago where he secured a medical doctorate while graduating AOA from Northwestern University. They continued their travels east to Dartmouth College to pursue an orthopaedic surgery residency. While at Dartmouth, both his degrees and his family expanded as he earned a master's degree focusing on health policy while spending a year involved in the prestigious American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery's Health Policy Fellowship. Dr. Genuario and his family of five returned to Colorado to complete his orthopaedic graining with a fellowship in sports medicine at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver.
